What You Can Do

What You Can Do to Protect Conestoga.

If a FERC permit is granted, Williams Partners, a private corporation, will be given the right to use eminent domain to take private properties for corporate profit. A community movement creating a rights based township ordinance against pipeline construction would legally block William’s efforts.

If you want your family, property and surrounding environment protected by a local ordinance that will prohibit the pipeline:

  • Sign the petition expressing your support for a Rights Based Ordinance
  • Attend the next Supervisor’s meeting:
7 p.m., every first Tuesday of the month at the Conestoga Township building, 3959 Main Street, Conestoga, PA 17516
  • Learn all you can about RBO and CELDF (www.celdf.org)
  • Spread the word quickly. We have resources to share!
  • Contact David Jones at davidjinpa@gmail.com if you are on or near the pipeline route and want to assess your property for anything archeologically important.
